We keep WordPress software current so it is less prone to hacks, and scan your website daily for suspect files. If your site does get infected, we can isolate and remove the malware.
No one can guarantee that your website will never get hacked. Unfortunately, even the most secured website can get compromised. The key is to be alerted as soon as your website is infected so the damaged is minimized and corrected.
Our WordPress maintenance ensures the core, plugins, and custom code are updated making them less prone to security risk and compatible with current browser technology.
Support Time
Our care plans are all about preventive maintenance. Your website is very much like a car, keep it maintained and it will serve you well. As with cars, even the best maintained websites will have issues. Sometimes things just break or stop working.
When trouble hits, Sturm Media’s team of WordPress experts will diagnose the problem and have you up and running fast. Our support issues always take priority and are usually resolved the same day.
Our Essentials Plus and Premium Plans have support time included, and if additional time is needed you pay a discounted rate. With our Essentials plan you pay as you need support at a discounted rate. Support time and be used to fix problems or consulting and training.
Content Changes
Need a new page image? Does your event calendar need updating? Did you add a new member to your team? Your time is limited and should be spent interacting with your customers and growing your business, not logging in and updating your website.
Let Sturm Media make those website changes and updates for you. You just need to fill out a request or send us an email and we’ll get them done fast, in may cases, the very same day!
Website Inspection and Tune-up
Our WordPress inspection and Tune-up is required to subscribe to one of our WordPress Care Plans. It’s important to ensure that your website files are safe, and secure. We do this we a thorough inspection and security scan to check for malicious code or malware and removing it. We will then update all the software on your site. This give us a clean website baseline to start you on one of our care plans.

Frequently Asked Questions
Absolutely. We would hate to see you go but our relationship with you is very important. We understand that financial situations determine many business decisions. All that is necessary to cancel is a request a emailed to support@sturmmedia.com, and we will immediately stop your next payment.
We are not a website host. We believe in focusing on what we do exceptionally well, and for other businesses to do the same. We can however, recommend a hosting company, and set up an account for you. We also work as your liaison and advocate with the hosting company for as long as you are on one of our care plans.
Good question, I think I can help with this. If you don’t change the content on your website very often or if you have an internal team to do it for you, then the Essentials Plan should work just fine.
If you need content changes done occasionally, or you have an eCommerce website you will need to go with the Essentials Plus Plan.
If you require daily or weekly changes to your website, and you have fairly heavy traffic then our Premium Plan would best suit your needs.
Also keep in mind that if you need other types of work or are planning to do so, our Essentials Plus will get you a %10 discount and the Premium will get you a 20% discount on our regular development rate of $125hr.
If you have a task that requires more than your dedicated monthly support or content time, or is out of the scope of plan coverage, we will submit a quote for you to approve separately from your plan. However, many times we will evaluate requests that exceed your time on a case by case basis, and with approval, work past the time and bill for time exceeded at our current support rate of $110/hr. less a 10% discount for the Essentials Plan, a 15% discount for the Essentials Plus, and a 25% discount for our Premium Plan.
To allocate and manage time to provide optimal service to our clients, SEO and support hours do not roll over. However, we monitor the hours used on each account and will provide on page SEO for unused time. If we find that you are consistently using less time than you need, we may suggest moving you to a lower tier plan.
Our current regular hourly rate is $110. We discount that by 10% for the Essentials, 15% for the Essentials Plus, and 25% for the Premium Plan.
We have found that you can get about 3 – 5 website content changes for the hour that is provided in our Essentials Plus Plan. Of course this does depend on the changes or updates requested. If it’s just dates changes, and image replacement, or minor copy updates you could get more.
You sure can, but you will need to submit an order for our website inspection.

The cost is $495
Our expertise is in WordPress, so we only support websites built on the WordPress Core. We also have a service for converting your current website to WordPress.
TERMS AND CONDITIONS:
Support time covers any technical issues, bug fixes, integration problems or if a member of your team accidentally causes an issue. Basically, it covers anything outside of content changes. It does not include new development, custom coding, design or integration work. SEO includes on page content, keywords and links. It does not cover any off page SEO like back links or external content. Any time that is not used for support or content changes will automatically be used for SEO.Time monthly allotted for SEO, support and content changes does not rollover. Content changes include any changes or replacement to text, images, video or website elements such as icons, links, and navigation text. Basically, any work that does not include new development, custom coding or additional integrations. All assets or text copy must be supplied by our client. Design or redesign work is not included.
